Please join us for an Oneg Shabbat on Friday night at the home of Barbara & Marty Ast, for a shiur following davening Shabbos morning, and for a Melaveh Malka on Motzai Shabbat at the shul.  On Saturday night, we will be serving rolls, soup, and salad at no charge. 

A special Yasher Koach to all those who helped to make this weekend possible.

 

SHABBOS YOUTH ACTIVITIES

 

Shabbat Groups led by Uria Teperberg.  Groups are from 10:00 – 11:15 AM

1st-6th Grades: Jr. Congregation.  Age 4-1st grade: Davening groups.  Up to 4 yrs: Babysitting

 

‘V’Shinantem L’Vanecha every Motzei Shabbat  join TMK for our new parent-child learning program (K-6th grade) @ 6:30-7:15 PM during the winter at Young Israel.  

 

Important Note to Parents: Parents are reminded that they are responsible for their children while on Shul property.  We ask that every child be either with a parent or in one of the supervised youth programs listed above.  This is essential for the safety of our children and the protection of Shul property.  Thanks for your cooperation.

REFUAH SHELAIMAH – Ziva Adler (Ziva Tikva bat Luba Bracha), Rafael Dovid (ben Bracha) the son of Rabbi & Mrs. Grunberger, Ruven Kirshner (ben Tovah Chaya), the son of Rabbi & Mrs. Menachem Kirshner, Zev Eliezer (ben Chaya Shaindel) the nephew of Tziona Zeffren, and Malka bas Chaya.

 

MAZEL TOV –  to Pauline Schneider on the birth of a great granddaughter to Avigayil & Dov Schechter of Clifton, NJ and on the birth of a great grandson to Rusi & Meir Kruter of Passaic, NJ.

 

CONDOLENCES –  to Devorah Edelstein on the passing of her beloved mother, Pearl Spector.  Devorah will be sitting shiva until Tues. at her home, 1007 Laval.  May she and her family be comforted among the mourners of Zion and Jerusalem.

Mondays:    8:15 PM at Young Israel:  Paths of Justice, taught in English by Uria Teperberg. (All are welcome.)

Tuesday:    11 AM  Women’s Parsha class.          8:30 PM Talmud, Sanhedrin, with Rabbi Amiel Rosenbloom.

Wednesday:   9:15 AM – Weekly Beit Midrash for women given by Vardit Teperberg at the home of Faye Newman 7916 Stanford.

Thursday:      7:30-8:30 PM with Dov Zeffren. Topics from the weekly Parsha

                         7-8 PM  Mesechta Berachot class given by Dr. Katz.   Open to everyone.

WHEELCHAIR – There is a wheelchair in the stairwell downstairs.  If this wheelchair belongs to you, please call the shul office.  If it isn’t claimed by February 20th, it will be donated to a local charity.
