Community Food Drive

The Harvey Kornblum Jewish Food Pantry is conducting its annual food drive. Next week, bags will be available to take and fill with non-perishable foods and sundries. Please deposit the bags in the box that will be in the shul downstairs near the office. This is the largest drive of the year and every little bit helps. Please participate.


Scholar In Residence at YI:


Young Israel and Torah MiTzion are honored to bring Rav Yuval Cherlow to St. Louis for a special pre-selichot Shabbaton on September 20, on the theme of:“The Teshuva of Eretz Yisrael – Reflections on the Identity of the State.”  Rabbi Cherlow is the Rosh Yeshiva of the Yeshiva Hesder in Petach Tikva, and co-founder of Tzohar.   Please see the flyer for further details.

Talit: To be added to the Kol HaNa’arim Talit, please notify Bonnie Drazen at Each name is $18. Boys under the age of 13 and girls under the age of 12 as of Simchat Torah, may be included. These names will be added to last year’s talit. No names will be removed from the talit. Names must be submitted IN WRITING no later than Friday, September 19th.
