TZETCHEM L’SHALOM to Tanya Fredman, daughter of Susie and Carey Fredman, as she leaves Sunday for 8 months to volunteer at the Agahozoo-Shalom youth village in Rwanda. GUEST SPEAKER: Rabbi Chaim Eisen will speak on ‘Chanukah's message: Kindling the light of creativity,’ Wednesday, December 17th, at 7 pm at the Shul. Rabbi Eisen has been lecturing on various aspects of Jewish philosophy/hashkafah in Israel for over 20 years. He is a long-time and current lecturer at the O-U Center in Jerusalem. MEDICAL ETHICS : The St. Louis Society for Jewish Medical Ethics presents the Dr. J Lester Zeffren Chair ‘Winter Symposium’ featuring Dr. Avraham Steinberg, Thursday December 18th.  ‘Lunch and Learn’ will be at 12 noon in the social hall. COMMUNITY TRIBUTE: ‘TURNING DARKNESS INTO LIGHT.’ Chabad of Greater St. Louis, Chabad on Campus and Chabad of Chesterfield invite the community to pay tribute to the victims of last week's terror attacks in Mubai and at the Chabad Center there.  Chabad will strive to help us transform this horrific tragedy into a force for good.
