RECEPTION: Friends of Young Israel of St. Louis are giving a dessert reception, including Dairy and Parve desserts, to celebrate the recent marriage of Zippi and Motti Klein, at Young Israel, Sunday July 5th from 8:30-10:30pm. Everyone is invited.

TRIBUTE CARDS: Giving Tzedakah is the perfect way to commemorate a simcha or remember a loved one. The Women’s Division has tribute cards for just this purpose. Contact Matilda Zeffren at 862-3809 for more information

MOVING SALE: Pauline Schneider has relocated to Chicago and her family is selling the contents of her apartment at 8334 Delcrest Dr, Apt 2A, before they close it. Her son, Francie, will be here Sunday, July 5th after 4:00pm and Monday July 6th. The sales are Cash and Carry, so bring something to haul away your purchases. If you need, you can contact Francie on his cell phone at 847-287-9912.

SAVE THE DATE: A community-wide lecture to commemorate the 3rd yartzheit of Sarah Adelman z”l will be the afternoon of July 19th – exact time tba - at Young Israel. The four volunteers who have maintained the Eruv for 15 years are retiring! Wanted: Young people (20's, 30's, 40's) to replace these four people to make up the core group that is responsible for keeping the Eruv up and coordinating the weekly volunteers that assist. Training will be provided (no pole climbing involved). Must be able to use basic tools, (hammer, nails, screwdrivers, pruner, etc.). Must be able to work at variable times prior to Shabbos:

** Spring and Summer: Thursday during the day or evening, Friday in the morning.

** Late Fall and Winter: Thursday evening or Friday morning.

It is imperative to keep this valuable asset viable in our community. We can't let ‘someone else’ do it. This is our Eruv, we as a community are the ones who must take care of it.

Please contact Rabbi Shulman or one of the four people listed below:
