BLOOD DRIVE & BONE MARROW REGISTRY: At Shaare Zedek in honor of Rabbi Mark Fasman, on March 6th from 3-8 pm. You may register online for the blood drive at Several volunteers are needed to assist with the bone marrow registry. Call their office at 314-727-1747 to register for testing and/or to volunteer. For those who gave blood at Young Israel, there’s a 56 day wait prior to donating again. Therefore, those who donated at our drive will not be eligible. But for those who wanted to give but were out of town, or had a cold, etc., they could be eligible


HAMANTASHEN SALE: Bnei Akiva is having a hamantashen fund raiser. The hamantashen will be parve and baked in the Young Israel kitchen. Flavors include raspberry, apricot, chocolate cream and prune. Baker's dozen (that's 13) is $9.99 and can be one or two flavors. Half dozen is $4.99 and is only one flavor. Orders can be placed online at and must be in by February 27th.
