SHUL ANNOUNCEMENTS

THANK YOU: Thank you to Marc & Vicki Chervitz who are the ushers this week for the youth groups.
SELICHOT: TMK invites you to a pre-Selichot evening of inspiration on Saturday night, September 8th at Young Israel. The program will begin at 11:30 pm, followed by refreshments. Selichot begins at 1:00 am.
ANNUAL YOUNG ISRAEL/TMK PICNIC: Sunday, September 9th, 4:30 pm at Shaw Park. We look forward to wrapping up the summer and introducing our new Bnot Sherut, Chavi Rothner & Rachel Patinkin. Dinner will be available for $10/adult and $5/ child (under the age of 5).
DECORATE THE SHUL SUKKAH: Young Israel and Torah Mitzion invite all children ages 5 -12 to come make Sukkah decorations. Sunday September 23 at the Shul. 4:00-5:30 pm.

WOMEN'S DIVISION

ROSH HASHANAH GREETINGS: This year the Women's Division will be making a booklet of your Rosh Hashanah greetings. A single name or family name is only $5 and a family name with all of your children's names is only $10. Please submit your names and payment, made payable to the Women's Division, by September 10th.

BIMAH DECORATIONS FOR YOM TOV:: This year they will be food baskets created by the Women's Division to be donated to Tomchei Shabbos after Yom Tov.

FARM FRESH FLOWERS for Shabbat and Rosh Hashanah:Flower Hill Farm is pleased to provide for you fresh, high quality, sustainably raised flowers that are locally and lovingly produced. $10 for a regular bouquet, $15 for a large bouquet. 8th graders will deliver them to you in EHA carpool line on Friday September 14. YACHAD BIRTHRIGHT TRIP:An amazing opportunity is available for individuals with special needs ages 18-25 who have never been on a formal educational trip to Israel before. There will be a Birthright trip from Dec. 30, 2012-Jan. 10, 2013. This 10-day trip is completely free, except for transportation to and from New York. SUPPORT TOMCHEI SHABBOS! Tomchei Shabbos is in need of replenishing supplies such as foil pans, paper products (e.g. paper towels, tissues, toilet tissue), and Ziplocs of all sizes.
