GUEST SPEAKER: We are happy to announce that Prof Nechama Price will be speaking twice during her visit to St Louis. There will be a pre-Mincha shiur on the second day of Yom Tov, Thursday May 16th, at the Shul. The topic will be “What Did We Do Wrong? We Didn't Order the Code Red!” This shiur is about why Elimelech, Machlon and Kilyon die in the first perek of Megilat Ruth. The second time will be a women’s only shiur on Shabbat, May 18th, at the home of Adinah Raskas, 722 Brittany Lane, at 4:30 pm. The topic will be: “Behind Closed Doors: Sexuality - A Torah Perspective”.
ICE CREAM PARTY/OPEN HOUSE: The Annual Shavuot Ice Cream Party/Open House at the Shulman home, 8055 Amherst, will be on the first day of Yom Tov, Wednesday, May 15th, 4:30-6:00 pm.
SHAVUOT AFTERNOON FUN FOR TEENS: Come play games, enjoy food, and schmooze with Sarah Immerman and Amanda Esraeilian both afternoons of Shavuot at the Meisel’s home, 898 Alanson Dr, starting at 4:00 pm each day.
TMK LEARNING: Will be the 2nd day of Yom Tov, Thursday, May 16th, 5 - 5:45 pm. The learning is for both boys and girls according to their grade:
· Nursery- Kindergarten at the Isakows (please make sure parents come to supervise their children).
· 1st – 2nd grade at the Chervitz.
· 3rd – 5th grade Girls at the Feens.
· 3rd – 5th grade Boys at the Fendelmans.
