  • Welcome Lunch

    December 14, 2019
    Please join us for lunch on Shabbat, December 14th, as we welcome the new families in our Young Israel community.
    The cost is $18/adult (age 12 and up), $10/child, free for children 2 and under, with a $70 family max. Sponsors are invited.
    Please RSVP to the office as soon as you are able, so we can plan our tables and menu.
  • School Move Seforim Giveaway

    December 15, 2019
    As EHA and Kadimah move, many of the old seforim will not make the move with them. The community is invited to the book room off the library from 10 am to 4 pm. Take any books you like. Any seforim not taken will be buried as shaimos/sheimot.
  • Schnucks Ladue Hannukah Celebration

    December 18, 2019
    7 to 8 pm at Barnes and Noble at Ladue Crossing, with Rabbi Shulman and Jackie Oppenheimer, and STEAM activities for children.

    Families with children up to 5 years old are invited to join Young Israel and PJ Library for a exciting and song-filled Kabbolas Shabbos/Kabbalat Shabbat and light dinner.

  • Annual Meeting

    December 22, 2019
    Our Shul's Annual General meeting to elect the new board of directors will be held on Sunday December 22nd, 10:00 am at the shul. The proposed slate of officers before the meeting. Coffee and donuts will be served.
  • Blood Drive

    January 12, 2020
    The 13th annual Saint Louis Community Blood Drive will take place at the shul from 10 am to 4 pm. In addition, there will be a food drive for the Harvey Kornbloom Jewish Food Pantry.

    Dr. Daniel Eisenberg—Assistant Professor of Diagnostic Imaging at Thomas Jefferson University School of Medicine, Radiologist at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia and a noted lecturer in the area of Jewish medical ethics, medical ethics scholar-in-residence for the New England Institute for Jewish Studies in Jerusalem and for the Schlesinger Institute for Medical-Halachic Research.
