Young Israel of St. Louis welcomes visitors and new members to our warm and vital shul. Committed to living Torah lives, fostering spiritual growth and supporting Israel, our Orthodox congregation provides daily and Shabbos/Shabbat davening as well as multiple learning opportunities for men, women and our youth. Located in the heart of the St. Louis eruv, Congregation Young Israel welcomes you.

Rabbi Moshe Shulman
Rabbi Shulman has Rabbinic Ordination from the Jerusalem Chief Rabbinate, and is a graduate of the Rabbinic Kollel and Sha'al Institute for Rabbinic and Educational Training of Yeshivas/Yeshivat Sha'alvim. Before joining Young Israel, he served as spiritual leader in Calgary and Toronto. His special interests include Tanach and the interaction of science, medicine and halacha. Kollel Yom Rishon: Rabbi Zvi Sobolofsky
On January 13, 2019 we were honored to inaugurate our Kollel Yom Rishon with lectures from Rabbi Zvi Sobolofsky, Rosh Yeshiva at YU/RIETS and spiritual leader of Congregation Ohr HaTorah in Bergenfield, N.J.
He spoke on "Chinuch Parameters" and "Mitzvoth of the Land" (sources).

On May 26, 2019, we had the honor of hearing from Rabbi Yaakov Neuburger, Rosh Yeshiva at the Yeshiva Program/Mazer School of Talmudic Studies at Yeshiva University. Our annual dinner, celebrating 25 years at our Delmar Boulevard location and honoring Rabbi and Mrs. Bienenfeld, was a great success. You can see the pictures and watch the slideshow that was presented, along with the video of the original building dedication and a slideshow of all the pictures from that event.

Please join us for lunch on Shabbat, December 14th, as we welcome the new families in our Young Israel community.
The cost is $18/adult (age 12 and up), $10/child, free for children 2 and under, with a $70 family max. Sponsors are invited.
